Welcome to New Moon Massage Studio. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (www.newmoonmassagestudio.com) and the services provided by New Moon Massage Studio LLC (“the Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking an appointment or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Professional Services
New Moon Massage Studio provides professional massage therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and body contouring services.
• Scope of Practice: Our treatments are therapeutic in nature and are not a substitute for medical examinations, chiropractic care, or diagnosis.
• Licensed Practice: All services are performed by Florida Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) in accordance with Florida Statutes Chapter 480.
2. Booking and Cancellation Policy
Your appointments are very important to us. They are reserved especially for you.
• 24-Hour Notice: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
• Cancellation Fee: If you cancel or reschedule within less than 24 hours of your appointment time, or if you fail to show up (No-Show), you will be charged the full price of the scheduled session.
• Credit Card Requirement: A valid credit card is required to secure all bookings to enforce our cancellation policy.
3. Arrival and Punctuality
• Check-In: Please arrive 5–10 minutes early for your first visit to complete necessary intake forms.
• Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to ensure the next client’s appointment begins on time. The full service fee will still apply.
4. Health and Safety
• Client Disclosure: You agree to provide accurate health information and disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries. You must update your therapist on any changes to your health status at each visit.
• Contraindications: Certain conditions (e.g., recent surgeries, infections, or acute inflammation) may require a doctor’s release before treatment can proceed.
• Post-Op Care: For post-surgical lymphatic drainage, you must follow your surgeon's specific protocols and share any restrictions with your therapist.
5. Professional Conduct
• Zero Tolerance Policy: Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances will result in the immediate termination of the session. You will be liable for full payment, and you will be prohibited from returning to the Studio. We reserve the right to report such behavior to local authorities.
• Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including, but not limited to, being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, exhibiting inappropriate behavior, use of verbal of written misinformation about our company or employees, expressing false accusations, and or demanding different expectations than what our treatments stand for.
6. Payment and Insurance
• Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and cash.
• Insurance: We do not accept insurance, HSA, or FSA payments at this time. All fees are due at the time of service.
7. Limitation of Liability
By receiving services at New Moon Massage Studio, you acknowledge the risks associated with massage therapy. You agree to release New Moon Massage Studio LLC and its members, employees, and contractors from any and all liability for injuries or damages, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on www.newmoonmassagestudio.com and our social media platforms including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of New Moon Massage Studio LLC and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use our branding without express written consent.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Pinellas County, Florida.
